1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using BotDeploy.ai (the "Service"), operated by BotDeploy.ai ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and BotDeploy.ai.

2. Description of Service

BotDeploy.ai provides Agent Engine Optimization (AEO) tools, including but not limited to:

  • AI readiness scanning and scoring of websites.
  • Generation and hosting of optimized llms.txt endpoints.
  • Competitor AI visibility analysis.
  • AI bot analytics and dashboard monitoring.
  • Content gap identification and optimization recommendations.

3. Account Registration

  • You must provide a valid email address and create a password to access certain features.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

4. Free and Paid Plans

4.1 Free Scans

We offer free website scans that provide limited AI readiness results. Free scans do not require an account for the initial scan but require sign-up to view the full report.

4.2 Paid Subscriptions

  • Paid plans are billed on a monthly or annual basis as indicated at the time of purchase.
  • All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period.
  • Feature limits (number of scans, competitors, etc.) are determined by your plan tier.

4.3 Refunds

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for new subscriptions. If you are unsatisfied, contact us within 30 days of your initial purchase for a full refund. Refunds are not available after the 30-day period or for renewal payments.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to scan websites you do not own or have authorization to scan.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts.
  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
  • Submit malicious URLs, code, or content designed to exploit or harm the Service.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
  • Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service beyond normal use.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service.
  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service without written consent.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Property

The Service, including its design, features, code, branding, and documentation, is owned by BotDeploy.ai and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.

6.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you submit (e.g., website URLs, custom llms.txt edits). By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your content as necessary to provide the Service. We do not claim ownership of your website content or generated outputs.

7. Generated Content

The Service uses AI (including models from Anthropic) to generate llms.txt files, optimization reports, and recommendations. While we strive for accuracy:

  • AI-generated content is provided "as is" and may contain inaccuracies.
  • You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all generated content before use.
  • We are not liable for any consequences arising from the use of AI-generated content.
  • Generated content should not be relied upon as legal, financial, or professional advice.

8. Website Scanning

By using our scanning features, you acknowledge that:

  • We access publicly available content from the URLs you provide.
  • Scan results are approximations and may not reflect how every AI agent processes your site.
  • Readiness scores and grades are based on our proprietary methodology and are intended as guidance only.
  • You are solely responsible for ensuring you have authorization to scan any website you submit.

9. Hosted Endpoints

For paid users, we host AI-optimized endpoints (e.g., llms.txt) on your behalf. We make reasonable efforts to maintain uptime and availability, but do not guarantee 100% uptime. We reserve the right to suspend or remove endpoints that violate these Terms or contain prohibited content.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
  • We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.
  • Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from the Service shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BotDeploy.ai, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service.
  • Your violation of these Terms.
  • Your violation of any rights of a third party.
  • Any content you submit through the Service.

12. Termination

  • You may cancel your account at any time through the dashboard or by contacting us.
  • We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.
  • Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately.
  • We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
  • Active paid subscriptions will not be refunded upon termination for cause (i.e., Terms violation).

13. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the applicable arbitration association in the jurisdiction where BotDeploy.ai is headquartered. You agree to waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which BotDeploy.ai operates, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

15. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.
